Beyond the Sea, Heaven and National Security

I saw "Beyond the Sea" yesterday and am sorry to say was very disappointed. A Sea Minus is very generous, the plot was poorly written and hard to follow. Kevin Spacey was good even though Bobby Darin just came off as a weirdo. Spacey carried a tune nicely and even some spiffy dance moves to keep the first hour fun but the second was sooooo drawn out I almost fell alseep. I'd say pass if your thinking about renting.

Another pass is "Kingdom Of Heaven". Orlando Bloom tries desperately to keep this movie alive but not even Legolas can keep this fallacy flying. Liam Neeson has fallen into the b actor category despite "Narnia" which was a mistake on Disney's part for putting him in it. "KOH" twists history to make the muslims the hero's & the Christians the stupid misguided enemy. Agenda Movies are an instant "F" in my book.

The Democrats claim some sort of victory for national security by blocking the DPW port takeover, but after their "Victory" they went right back to criticizing the President for the wiretapping of terrorist, they falsely call domestic. Cause the port deal makes a huge difference when terrorist are calling and being called from inside the US. National Security cannot be pick and choose, it's all or nothing. Or did you forget:

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I saw "the Island" last week after renting it 3 times and not watching, and was pleasantly surprised. It was good, I mean chase scenes, action, minimal dialogue and explosions. Also Scarlet J. is one of the easiest faces in hollyweird to look at. If you're watching for the FX its all good. 2 cloned thumbs up.

I also saw "Zorro 2" for 2 thumbs down. The only way this movie could have been worse is if the horse actually spoke. Little kids ruin movies, they're annoying and a complete bore at the same time. CZJones looked awesome and Zorro was fighting for America, but that's not enough to save this cliche packed snorefest from movie hell.

Islam is pissed again and everyone knows it cause they're running around squealing like pigs (pun intended) rioting and killing over a comic. I was unhappry with the crucifix with elephant crap on it but I didn't go out and kill anybody, the religion of wouldn't know peace if it smacked them in the face, once again proving they have no place in modern world.

I have returned

So I saw the Pacifier, starring Vin Diesel, not bad... It is a bit older but you could tell it was Disney starting to come back around to responsible movie making. It was good and family oriented, though it did have an arrary of potty jokes that were a little much, way to much of Brad Garret's Body and a sad portrayal of Navy SEALS but all in all a solid 3 stars for Vin.

On a heavier note, Iran seems to be preparing for War. I say come and get it, we will take them down faster than Iraq ( I know this because I've talked with an Iranian Dissidant who told me 80% of the population would back us over their own.)

Narnia & Numbskulls

I saw The Lion, The Witch and The Wordrobe lastnight, 5 stars for yet another Disney movie that really shows Disney might be remembering who their audience is. Children and Parents of Children, and most people with children are conservative (you know that because liberals are pro-abortion). So a movie with deep Christian values pulls a 67 million dollar opening.

4 stars for Stanley Williams execution, people were actually whining about him wincing in pain when they couldn't find a vein. Awww poor big bad gang banger who shotguns little girls in the FACE gawt owwies when dey stuck whim wit dat iddie biddie needle, I SO DON'T CARE. People also bitched when it took 12 minutes for him to die, but if you look at the picture of the little girl he killed she has a breathing tube in her mouth, which means she didn't die instantly! She suffered with half a face ( www.michaelsavage.com if you want to see, WARNING no kids or weak stomachs) for God knows how long before she died, GOOD RIDDANCE HE WAS A SCUMBAG AND HE DESERVED 100 TIMES WORSE, and if you don't agree you're just like him.

Extended Absence, Movies and Executions.

I am aware that it has been forever since I posted last and just want to let people know I am not a big enough nerd to keep this up I will get to it when I can, but I don't think I am at a place in my life where blog upkeep is important. I do however encourage any loyal readers to check back at least tri-weekly I will be making attempts to post more often

A long run of movies that were not bad, Aeon Flux gets 2.5 out of five stars for a movie interesting enough to keep you in your seat, though I didn't like Charlize Theron for the role of Aeon, she was cardboard and conservative, two things Aeon wasn't. Harry Potter 4 was better than the previous 3 getting 4 stars for good action, drama and comedy. My only complaint is that it went to fast (I know the book was like 700+ pages so maybe Potter should take the lead in splitting up big books into 2 movies, or jump to 3+ hours like lord of the rings. Walk the line gets 3.5 stars for a good sit, good casting and my enjoying Cash's music helped get those stars, but maybe someone better to play Elvis (I know it was a small role but come-on).

Lat but not least, if Govenor Arnold lets this murdering, monster, scum bag, freak, Tookie live here in Cali I will start collecting Recall Signatures myself. Arnold has made me regret voting for him too many times and this will be the last draw. If a guy who mutilated children with a shotgun blast to the FACE, then went on to start one of the most notorious street gangs ever can't get executed than pass out the recall forms cause I am doing it again. I collected against Gray (biggest loser) Davis, I will definitely hit the streets for Govenor (alienate my base) Arnold.
