There Can Be Only Dumb

I've been reading A LOT of dumb quotes from politicians lately. So I wanted to post a few of the most dumb over the last few years.

• "The affirmative task we have now, is to, um, create a new world order" -Joe Biden

• "We have to pass the bill, so we can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy" -Nancy Pelosi

• “Women — who make up nearly half of our nation’s workforce — face a pay gap that means they earn 23 percent less on average than men do. That disparity is even greater for African-American women and Latinas,” -Barack Obama (while still paying male WH staff more than female)

• "The fact is we had four dead Americans! Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make?" -Hillary Clinton

• "This is not about politics. This is about these families and families all across the country who are saying let’s make it a little harder for our kids to get gunned down." -Barack Obama (emphasis added by me)

• "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." -Barack Obama

And just to prove I'm not completely bias;

• "As president, I will create 12 million new jobs." -Mitt Romney (presidents don't do that)

• "... read my lips, no new taxes." -George H W Bush

• "We have a lot of work to do. It's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq-Pakistan border." -John McCain (They don't share a border)

They'll Never Learn

On Dec 22nd, New York's Journal News published online an article titled "Where are the gun permits in your neighborhood?". The leftist rag decided that they would expose the names and addresses of registered permit holding gun owners. The Journal thought they were being slick, putting sunlight on those evil gun owners. But it was really a boost for criminals, in more ways than one. What will it take for the Journal News to learn? They won't, even after someone dies.

While it's common for Liberals to take advantage of tragedies like the shooting in Sandyhook CT. Deliberately putting people in danger is a new low. Foxnews interviewed a few ex-cons that said if they had a map like that it would have made their job much easier. To me it's pretty clear, one with crime on his mind might go to the unarmed homes at night, feeling safe that the owners won't have the ability to fight back. Then if one wanted to replenish their supply of stolen guns just needs to rob the homes with guns in the daytime when no one is home.

Along with every Tom, Dick and Sally whose names were published was Jeanine Pirro, Foxnews host and former judge on the Westchester County Court, now I am sure it is easily understood why a former judge needs both a weapon for protection and privacy of her home address. Watch this clip from the Judge's show with her reaction:


Here's where the real scary part starts, four weeks to the day that the Journal News article was published a home in White Plains was broken into, Newsday.com had the story;
"A White Plains residence pinpointed on a controversial handgun permit database was burglarized Saturday, and the burglars' target was the homeowner's gun safe. At least two burglars broke into a home on Davis Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Saturday but were unsuccessful in an attempt to open the safe, which contained legally owned weapons, according to a law enforcement source. One suspect was taken into custody, the source said".
Luckily the owner, who was in his 70's was not home at the time of the robbery. The brazen thieves brought a ladder and broke through a 2nd story window.

So the question is when will someone die because of the Journal News' irresponsibility and will they even care? I will answer that for you, yes someone will die and NO they don't care. You see the left only pretends to care about things, they claim this all for the safety of our children and look the other way while planned parenthood has a record year and aborts over a million babies. They claim to care about jobs and the poor while they continue to squash small businesses and add more to the list of foodstamp recipients that ever before. They tell you that you are not capable of defending your home and family with a gun, while they walk around with concealed carry permits and armed guards 24/7. Don't let the government run your life into the ground. Stand up for the Bill of Rights, don't let Obama trample the Constitution any longer. Exercise those rights, SPEAK UP, call your congressman and senators, vote and write a blog, we can't rely on the AssKissMedia to watch out for us. If you really want to stick your thumb in their eye, BUY A GUN! Take a safety course, join the NRA and add your name to the ranks of those will not be sheep led to the slaughter. Celebrate with us on Gun Appreciation Day!

More Guns = More Freedom

With renewed threats of sweeping gun control laws or even worse an outright ban (& confiscation) from the Obama Administration via executive order, again we need to take a look at guns in America and why we need them. Guns have played an important part in history, the way we know that guns are tools and not some kin of incarnate evil, because  more often than not they are used to help protect people and preserve our way of life. Even though the media would tell you different, it is simple to look back and see the benefit of having this particular tool. To put it more simply; Guns don't kill people, people kill people. 

The primary reason to own a firearm is the same reason you vote, exercising your rights. The Founding Fathers put together a simple yet highly effective document that lays out our way of life. The Constitution is 8 pages and the Amendments we have made since then might take up 2 more. We cherish the things that we have been given, by God (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) and man (everything else). So how could it not be positive to exercise our 2nd right and be prepared for any action. "Amendment II - A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Now the well regulated militia spoken of here is essentially the military, there to protect the Union, from outside invaders. Then it goes on to say what the right of the people is. Now if you need to consider the two parts connected than I am part of a well regulated group the NRA. I don't think it's a requirement, but if it gives you some peace of mind, join up, it's inexpensive and provides both access to training and safety courses and it also provides some insurance in case the unthinkable happens.

Secondly, it's a safety issue.  Always remember, you don't call the police because they have pens, you call them because they have guns. Face it, the time where you could go to sleep at night with your front door open to catch a breeze is gone. The safety of you and your family should be one of your primary concerns, waiting 8 to 15 or more minutes for the police to show up with their guns is simply not acceptable. I'm not trying to scare you, but the facts are facts. In the year 2010 according to the FBI there was 417,403 robberies in the US, and 14.3% of them were home invasion. So at one robbery a minute, out of 100 minutes 14 of them were home invasion. Take a safety/training class, do your homework, figure out what is right for you and be ready. If you have children you have an even greater responsibility, not only to protect your kids from the world, but to teach them proper gun safety, allowing them to grow up and intelligently protect their family. Banning guns seems like a great plan, except crooks don't care about bans or laws. It's pretty much settled that we lost the war on drugs, because no matter how many laws you pass, the drugs will always be there. So what makes you think it will be any different with guns. Where I think legalizing drugs is just stupid, it seems to be the direction we are going. So we are to believe more access to drugs will mean less crime. You can't have it both ways.

Lastly, recreation. Guns are a great hobby. There's the physics, the skill required, and the opportunity to interact with supersonic objects (that loud bang is a sonic boom). Some people enjoy target shooting or trap shooting, others prefer hunting, and still others prefer collecting guns. Guns tend to retain their value and sometimes even gain value over time. Many people enjoy it all. Regardless of what you've been told by the media, there is a good chance a gun related hobby is right up your alley. I find it to be both exhilarating and relaxing. 

A Conversation About Guns

Couple days ago I had a long conversation on Facebook with a good friend who I respect, and appreciate her opinions. We had a disagreement about Guns and I thought it was interesting enough to put into a blog post. Names have been altered but the rest is verbatim. You're missing the point of the 2nd amendment, it's not just so we can hunt or shoot cans. It's to ensure freedom of the state from all oppressors, including (and I am NOT implying this) the federal govt. We are always supposed to have the ability to install a new govt in a time of crisis (again not implying), taking away "assault" weapons makes us a big step weaker. They won't stop there, as soon as assault weapons are gone they will come for something else

I hear you DK, But the day that our country turns into Syria, I'm packing up and leaving. Our family has left country after country over the generations and its the reason why we are alive today. My machine gun is not going to be able to take on the entire country. This scenario is a hypothetical in any event. But what is real is our innocent citizens dying because too many power hungry psyco's are killing us without our ability to stop them, because the unnecessary speed of the weapons are the enemy. We should always sleep with one eye open, be aware of whats going on wherever you live, and leave if you must. I don't want to die a hero fighting a battle that I can not win. I'd rather live somewhere else. In the meantime we owe our loyalty to the country that we live in and the safety of its citizens from the thugs who are removing babies from their mommies and daddies arms.

Just remember those "Thugs" are already breaking the law, so therefore banning guns just takes them out of the hands of us the law abiding. I know it sounds counter productive, but more guns (for the law abiding) is the answer.

Jason S, The problem is that this weaponry is being sold as we speak to the crazies who don't display any criminal record until their first crime, which we sadly get to hear about all over the news once the tragedy has already taken place. Tighter controls are necessary. In this case the shooter's mother had purchased the three guns legally, but really was the semi-automatic that she had purchased going to be used by her to be prepared for a government uprising? I can't imagine that she was planning to be a commando or a resistance fighter. The guns are just to easily available and the immediate torture that it causes our society on a daily basis is too much for any society. We have some real triage to do in the present which IS effecting our lives in real time. The argument for a Hypothetical "resistance fight" is destroying our actual ability to live in the present.

From what I read she was an active shooter and enthusiast. She purchased the guns after her husband left her with kids in a big home. She went to ranges and practiced safe shooting. Now if you want to question her child raising fine, but her son killed her and stole her car and guns. He did NOT use the "automatic" weapon in the shooting, so with 2 handguns he did all that damage, so are we talking banning handguns now? Stricter screening and some kind of mental testing is something I am willing to hear more on, but as the sad incident in China proved if you want to cause mass carnage you will find a way. Restricting my ability to buy because someone might steal from me is not the answer.

Every parent has a good feeling about their children. We know when our kids are struggling with keeping up in a math class, let alone other more severe issues. Somehow these guns were not secured properly enough from a child at risk. I can't hold her without blame.

In every case of security. Nothing will ever be completely fool proof, but all experts advise to harden the target to protect yourself from attack, as attackers will generally not attack your target of you have made it more difficult. Same is true with guns, the harder it would have been for him to access guns, the less likely this would happen. What ever argument you make, these guns were all to easily available to him as demonstrated by the tragic result.

 We must NEVER surrender our Second Amendment rights. Our forefathers intended that the citizenry always be capable of defending our democracy should an oppressive form of government ever take power. Gun control has never worked - it simply leaves innocent citizens at the mercy of criminals who do not bother with legally obtaining firearms anyway. Let's get the "machine gun" word out of the vocab, they are long illegal in the US. A semi-automatic rifle like the AK-47 is an extreme, but I know people who own them and hunt with them. No one has ever said the word vigilante, that's your word. Also, the Constitution applies just as much now as it did then, give it a read, it's not evolving or growing. You're right we did amend the Constitution, with more freedom. The Freedom of speech and religion and the freedom to own guns for a purpose. So we have Amendment I

The extent to which the citizenry is armed is the question at hand.
The challenge is not actually to the 2nd amendment right, it's to the right of what? How armed do we need to be. Do we need to have nuclear heads in our garages? Because that's what the government has? Obviously not. Therefore the question again is do we really need semi automatics easily in the hands of every Tom, Dick, or Harry in order not to be accused of violating our first amendment rights? Some control is necessary. The question is why does anyone need a semiautomatic, or ammunition clips that achieve a similar result.

 I've never said no regulation, but the level of armament should be up to the individual, whatever you feel comfortable with when the unthinkable happens. I know you said "theoretical" but that has happened in the last century. Like I said before while I am NOT saying it is time to take up arms against the Govt, we ARE on a slippery slope, ask a Holocaust survivor what Germany was like in the 20's and 30's in comparison to today and he will scare you with some of his answers.  In Israel we are happy that so many capable people have guns. What you need is gun control? When the Intada started my son applied. He is a Rabbi and it took three months of background searches, classes and tests for him to get the gun. Many lives have been saved here by citizens being armed and in the right place at the right time. One person armed in that school that knew what thet were doing could have changed the whole picture. There are many controls in place. Take California for example, the law states you can only have one 10 round magazine loaded at any given time. But last night a man managed to shoot 50 rounds at Fashion Island mall. So he either reloaded his 10 rounds 5 times or broke the law. You cannot legally purchase magazines in CA that hold more than 10 rounds. So what to we do, make more laws? Ban more guns?

DK, Israel is a completely different situation. For the most part nearly every citizen has been trained and served in the military. Their guns are issued in a "right of passage" sort of way with training and under observation all while united for a comon goal; survival under very difficult circumstances. Kids from the age of 16 or younger are already profiled for their positions in the military. That's two years before they even begin their training. It's truly apples and oranges. People like DK, should be armed, kids who's training are video games shouldn't.
Also Jason, Sadly those who survived the holocaust did so either by leaving or by simply making it long enough through concentration camp or hiding. Very few Partisans made it, certainly compared to the population, but no doubt that their courage served to mangle communications and disrupt even further mass destruction of our people.
At the end, I don't know if any minority would survive a population of people who wishes for its destruction. It wouldn't matter how many guns you had. You couldn't beat the military as a whole. It would just be a futile attempt to weaken it.
Most Jews I know will tell you of all the different countries their families were once from. It's another good reason to keep Israel strong as a place that welcomes Jews and has the arms to defend her people in a more meaningful way than all the machine guns anyone could stock pile.
But in the meantime, until any one of us are faced with any of these decisions, I prefer one rule of law then all the vigilantes who think themselves just in looking for their own way to settle a score. Everyman who has committed domestic violence has thought that his wife had it coming and deserved it. Thats just an anecdotal example I understand, but everyone has some sense of sick reason for picking up a weapon. Go to the jails and you will hear every one of those justifications/reasons/causes.
Again, I prefer one rule of law. Not the makings of every individual who seeks his own sense of justice.

You speak of not being able to beat the govt but I am talking about not letting the govt get to the point of needing some kind of defeat. Stop the ballooning govt, before things get to the point where people are forced to fight or flight. Again the German people were told the disarming was for their own good. Since you feel it's ok to imply I am some sort of justice seeking vigilante, I feel ok in saying your ideas are like a sheep being lead to slaughter.

Hardly Jason, one thing I've never been accused of is being a sheep. I've also not accused YOU of being a vigilante, but I am speaking of a crazed group that would be, and others who have already demonstrated that they have been. I've never advocated being silent or week or unaware, but I will not selfishly weigh my own civil liberties over or against the greater good of the population and cause it harm.
I am a grateful American, and the well being of it's citizens is paramount to me. Especially since it is this same group of citizens and country that have granted me and my family and you and yours refuge from those who have harmed us in the past. Show some appreciation. You may have rights, but moreover you have duties.
I will not DEMAND my right over my DUTY to the citizens of this country.

They're Coming

It should be no surprise to anyone who knows me or regularly reads this blog that I am a gun owner. I believe the 2nd Amendment to be just as important as the first if not more so. (Actually I think the entire Bill of Rights is important and if we lose one amendment the rest will fall like dominoes).  We know that most democrats hate guns, strike that, most democrats hate regular citizens having guns. It is easier to control a disarmed population. When the Obama administration tried some overt gun law action it was trounced and the president told radical left wing activist Sarah Brady about more gun control;  “I just want you to know that we are working on it,” ... “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.” So again it is no surprise that he president is backing this U.N. Small Arms Treaty and calling it harmless to everyday Americans. But lets take a closer look, Larry Bell from Forbes put it this way, if the US Senate ratifies this "treaty" it will have the following effect;

• Enact tougher licensing requirements, creating additional bureaucratic red tape for legal firearms ownership.

• Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms (exempting those owned by our government of course).

• Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).

Remember what I said earlier, this is two amendments gone in one harmless treaty. Former UN Ambassador John Bolton has warned 2nd Amendment advocates the the U.N. “is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control.” Obama has been stacking the deck for gun control in his administration and court picks for a long time. When he said "under the radar" he wasn't kidding. Hillary Clinton, Greg Nickels, Andrew Travers, and the highly anti-gun Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor are just a few of the radical gun control advocates Obama has foisted on us. 

Meanwhile the FBI released the official numbers for crime in 2010 and despite the sales of "evil" guns going up since 2008, the number of gun related crimes had gone down for the fourth straight year. In her new book "Chicks with Guns" author Lindsay McCrum says that 15-20 million women in the US are gun owners and proud. She speaks on the stereotypes attributed to guns and women of all ages, ethnicity and social classes love their guns. It's a unique relationship America has with guns, an amazing freedom where as many people own guns for recreation as those who use them for protection. 

There are many who fear guns, most fear what they do not understand, but our Founding Fathers knew what they were doing when they gave us the Constitution. They took rights God bestowed upon us and made clearly available to all. That is the reason why 235 years later America is still the shining example of freedom on this planet.

Just Saying

• Since there is no perfect candidate, I'm sticking to Herman Cain for now. Maybe he can't win, but I still say a non-politician is the best bet.

• I'm so angry, the sad state of our economy and the lack of jobs has me figuring which guns I want to sell.

• Obama said recently that ATMs are eating up jobs in America. Can you say out of touch? 

• The biggest issue against Obama in 2012 is he's an incompetent fool.

• As much as I am over the story, it's still hilarious that his name is Weiner and he is trouble for lying about his namesake.

• My electric tooth brush died, so I am forced to do it the old fashioned way. It's barbaric.

• Is anyone else as excited as I am over the Tim Burton exhibit at LACMA?

• My weekly monopoly night is backfiring, I can't seem to win.

3 Reasons - Guns

Like "Just Saying", "3 Reasons" will be another weekly feature...

In light of recent call for more regulation coming from the Obama Administration, this week's topic is owning a firearm. Guns have played an important part in history, the way we know that guns are tools and not some kin of incarnate evil is more often than not they are used to help preserve our way of life. Even though the media would tell you different it is simple to look back and see the benefit of having this particular tool. To put it more simply; Guns don't kill people, people kill people. 

The first reason to own a firearm is the same reason you vote, exercising your rights. The Founding Fathers put together a simple yet highly effective document that lays out our way of life. The Constitution is 8 pages and the Amendments we have made since then might take up 2 more. We cherish the things that we have been given, by God (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) and man (everything else). So how could it not be positive to exercise our 2nd right and be prepared for any action. "Amendment II - A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Even though the media has created a negative connotation on the word militia, I believe that we should stick to what works and in their time militias worked. Though I do consider myself to be part of a well regulated group the NRA. I don't think it's a requirement, but if it gives you some peace join up, it's inexpensive and provides both access to training and safety courses and it also provides some insurance in case the unthinkable happens.

Secondly, it's a safety issue. Face it the time where you could go to sleep at night with you front door open to catch a breeze is gone. The safety of you and your family should be one of your primary concerns, waiting 3 to 5 or more minutes for the police to show up is simply not acceptable. I'm not trying to scare you, but the facts are facts. In the year 2006 according to the FBI there was 447,403 robberies in the US, and 14.3% of them were home invasion. So at one robbery a minute, out of 100 minutes 14 of them were home invasion. Take a safety/training class, do your homework, figure out what is right for you and be ready. You don't call the police because they have pens, you call them because they have guns.

3rd reason, recreation; Guns are a great hobby. There's the physics, the skill required, and the opportunity to interact with supersonic objects (that loud bang is a sonic boom). Some people enjoy target shooting or trap shooting, others prefer hunting, and still other prefer collecting guns. Guns tend to hold their value and sometimes even gain value over time. Many people enjoy it all. Regardless of what you've been told by the media, there is a good chance a gun related hobby is right up your alley. I find it to be both exhilarating and relaxing. 

Anti-Midas

President Obama has been fairly quiet on gun control since he's been in office, but yesterday he decided to go there; “I know that every time we try to talk about guns, it can reinforce stark divides,"  He goes on, "However, I believe that if common sense prevails, we can get beyond wedge issues and stale political debates to find a sensible, intelligent way to make the nation a safer, stronger place." Now Obama is a liberal so I knew he wouldn't leave my guns alone, and really all he is saying, right now, is we need to enforce existing gun laws. That I am 100% OK with. But when you read that quote, you can see the little hamster on the wheel in his head running as fast as it can and that is what worries me.


There was a time during his campaign that Obama was like King Midas, everything he touched turned to gold. He seemed to overcome impossible odds to get the top job. But, since he has been president it's been more like anti-Midas, everything he touches turns to garbage. I guess you can also liken him to the king with no clothes, but lets stick to anti-Midas. Stimulus, healthcare, bail-outs, foreign policy and outright socialism, normally I'd be very happy to see a democrat go down in flames, but Obama is somehow still wielding popularity. Looking at 2012 it seems like he is going to win a second term and I can't for the life of me figure out why. This Country is in shambles, we are embracing our enemies, alienating our friends, looking at a double dip recession, gas prices and unemployment are sky high, yet Obama's crown is still firmly atop his head. 


Guns are one of the issues Obama had shied away from, probably because it is highly controversial and they have a huge base that cannot be budged. But with Obama going around and wildly doing whatever he wants damned what the people of America think, I worry about a Nazi style gun ban (yeah i said it!). The Second Amendment exist to keep the power with the people and not the government. But Obama's government power grabs have been sweeping and disarming the people will become necessary to maintain the masses. I understand that is a "out there" sounding theory but we have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. 


With the very recent tragedy in Japan and the unrest in the middle east, many people have brought up to me the "end times" and "2012". Now I have stated before I do not think Barack Obama is the anti-christ, while he is a huge narcissist he is not going to bring on the apocalypse. But times will be hard, I have said that we will have to tighten our belts to get through, and with the Republicans looking totally impotent for the 2012 elections, the belts will get yanked a few more notches. America will prevail, times were hard after the Depression and we fought through, we will fight through again. As long as we are steadfast in our Faith and stick to the values that our Founding Fathers taught us America will survive and sun will shine again.

People With Guns Save People

Notice I didn't say guns save people, because a gun is an inert object that can do nothing by itself. But put them in the hands of people and they can save lives.

Case in point.

For many years handguns were banned in Washington DC, and during those years DC had soaring high murder rates. For some reason even though they were illegal the criminals and murderers didn't stop using them. Maybe the district should have done more advertising, you know a signs on the sides of buses; "Just so everyone knows handguns are illegal". Something tells me that wouldn't have helped. When you make something illegal all you do is take it out of the hand of law abiding citizens, criminals don't give a damn.

The ban was lifted in 2008 and the evil guns flooded into Washington DC, and by the end of 2009 the murder rate in DC was down 25%, the lowest it's been in forty five years! The media would have you believe that tougher law enforcement in conjunction with neighborhood watch programs and stricter penalties are the reason for the drastic fall in the murder rate. But if that's all it took, why didn't DC do it sooner? The proof in in the shootings, or lack there of. An armed society is a safe society. When I was in Jerusalem there were guns everywhere, on the soldiers, police and a good chunk of the public. Guess how many dead bodies were in the street? Not one, you can walk down the street on a dark night and not worry. Even the "Wild West" wasn't so wild, despite what you see in the movies gunfights were a rare occurrence. People have to get the negative stigma of guns out of their heads.

Go to a firing range, take a course, get educated, join the NRA. For your safety and mine go out and buy a gun.

Obama Blocks 2 From My Gun Collection

The Republic Of Korea (ROK) has a huge stockpile of old American rifles M1 Garand and M1 Carbines that they want to sell back to the United States. First off let me point out that we didn't give those guns to them, we loaned them the guns for use during the war and for a couple decades following. So they are trying to sell us back our own weapons. They should just be giving them to us. But I am willing to let them make a few bucks, I mean we give ROK millions of dollars every year anyway. So moving right along, where do I send the money?

Not going to happen, why you ask angrily? Well the Obama/Clinton State Department has decided that, let me quote now; "Obama/Clinton State Department has reportedly denied the 'import' of these rifles from Korea on the theory that they might 'fall into the wrong hands' here in the US. The stories also report that the Korean plan was to sell them in bulk to importers who were then going to resell them in the US." I have wanted each of these guns for years, but the thousand dollar price tag has kept me far away. Adding 857,470 rifles (770,160 M1 Carbines and 87,310 M1 Garands) to the mix would bottom out the price and would make them affordable for all who want to own a little piece of history.

Just in case you are wondering, both the Garand and the Carbine are top loaded and hold eight rounds which make them one hundred percent legal to own in the US. They do not fall into the "Assault Rifle" ban of 2004. One thing that worries me is if the guns are returned to the Govt. without us paying, the Obama Administration might melt them down. Let's go ahead with the sale and these guns home where they belong in the hands of the people!

Hello America!

I just can't believe how fast we are slipping into outright communism. Obama is not so slowly nationalizing banking, automobile production, student loans and health care. He says judge him by the people he surrounds himself with and files in Van Jones, Anita Dunn, Cas Susstein, Buffy Wicke and ACORN. All of whom identify themself as either socialist or looking to Mao for political guidance.

In California the "Republican" governor recently signed a bill that would require a thumb print and photo ID to purchase ammunition, which I am sure the rest of the Country will follow soon, by making it harder for LEGAL gun owners to buy ammo they are one step closer to the nazi style gun bans and registration hitler had laid out to keep his people under his thumb. It doesn't matter which of the Bill of Rights goes down first be it the second amendment or the fourth once one goes the rest will fall like dominoes.

In the soviet union the state controled the newspaper and it only printed the news the state wanted put out there ignoring the real stories. Here in the USA this is being reborn by the mainstream media (MSM) which is completely devoted to Comrade Obama and badmouthing FOXNEWS the only media outlet that dares to say anything dissenting. Which I might add was encouraged by Nancy Pelosi during the Bush years, but now people who dissent are called a mob, nazis and unpatriotic. How are we supposed to trust the MSM when it's broadcaster get a "thrill up their leg" when Obama talks?

Taxes are sky high and rising with no end in sight. Taxes are being levied on things like juice, soda, sweets, cigarettes, and vegetables. Even with the biggest tax increase in American history the deficit is climbing to uncharted territory. Trillions of dollars of debt being left our children and grandchildren. While social security continues to die it's slow death and the cost of government run health care not even added in yet!

 Roman political philosopher Cicero spoke on the enemy within and how they attack the pillars of society. Have you noticed the pillars of our society being attacked? Police Officers who are doing their jobs attacked by the President himself on television. The Church being attacked on all sides from prayer, Bibles, the Ten Commandments and the name of GOD being removed from our pledge, money and buildings. This Country was built on Judeo-Christian foundation. Wise men who built this house upon a rock. Who over the last 233 years gave Glory and Prayers to God openly during speeches and were not ashamed. But in the last year we opened a WWII memorial with NO mention of God at all! How does this happen? All the great Presidents of the past Washington, Lincoln, FDR and Kennedy spoke of God and how they Prayed daily (there were many more, but these are the one even democrats call great).

 The people are already standing up, the 9/12 march in DC was most likely the largest in American history. Tea Parties are back and I say Samuel Addams would be proud to see what we are doing. I have been to several tea parties myself and intend on going to more. I will blog and make calls, vote when the time comes for real change. Because I have hope in America not the President. There is already a Savior in my life and his name is Jesus Christ not Barack Obama.
