Patriot's Day 2012

People were jumping from the highest floors of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Rather than burn to death, they chose a few fleeting seconds of terror. I decided I was not going to post the video of the people jumping, but I did want to remind you. Remind you of a crime perpetrated on America by evil hate filled muslims that to this day still want our Freedom to cease. They still hate us (and Israel) more than they love their children. They still fire rockets into quiet neighborhoods, blow themselves up on buses, set off IEDs as our troops drive by and are still trying to build a nuclear weapon in Iran. Patriot's Day is not a day of service, its a day of recognition, to recognize not only the bravery of our First Responders and Soldiers, but to recognize that there is great evil in the world and very few with the fortitude to kill it.

There is a website called The Religion of Peace that has kept track of (almost) every attack by muslims since 9/11. There they keep a running tally of all the deadly attacks, 19,582 of them to be exact. Every one of those represents at least one life taken, but many are several up to hundreds. We cannot let ourselves be lulled into a feeling of safety. Just because our Military has done an AMAZING job of keeping the jihadist off our shores doesn't mean they are not trying. We have to have constant vigilance, they just have to get lucky. In the gritty but amazing film Act of Valor we see how with some cooperation between jihadis and Mexican cartels there can be terror right on out doorstep. Since the federal government has made no effort to fix the border, the "Act of Valor" scenario is very possible. The other target is Israel, the last bastion of freedom and sanity in the region. If the Iranians are successful in finishing their nuclear weapon the first target will no doubt be our only ally in the Middle East. We already let one Holocaust happen by ignoring evil, are we really willing to see history repeat itself?

Maybe I sound angry, WELL I AM! You should be too, you should never forget the anger that burned in you as you realized with the rest of America that we were being attacked on 9/11/01. Never forget the rage as you watched the muslims dancing in the streets of some middle east wasteland celebrating our darkest moment and never forget the 3000+ men, women and children whose lives were torn from them in the most violent way. Let that anger bubble up inside you and remember September 11, 2001 the day cowards slashed the throats of flight attendants with box cutters and forced their way into cockpits (that were not locked, reinforced doors cause they didn't have to be) and crashed planes into the symbols of freedom in our Great Country.

9 Years Later

So 9 years later as the anniversary of Sept 11 approaches again I find myself just as angry as I was on 9/12/01. I watched exactly 7 minutes of "Giuliani's 9/11", an interview style recount of the day from Rudy himself, I had to shut it off because I was so angry we let this happen.

To make matters worse 9 years later Ground Zero is still a pit, and the Flight 93 Memorial is looking to be crescent shaped and facing Mecca. How are we so buried in bureaucratic slime can we not have rebuilt the Twin Towers. The "Freedom" tower is just the opposite, it is the we are scared masses who want to be enslaved tower. Is America never going to reach for the sky again just because some muslim whack jobs caught us off guard? 9 years later there is still hope; http://www.twintowersalliance.com/ is working on stopping the Freedumb tower and restoring the NY skyline to it's proper glory. The original Twins took 7 years to build, but with modern technology and state of the art materials the new Twin Towers could be standing in 3 years. Stronger then before, and smarter as well.

I know I have written about this before, probably around this time in previous years. We can't change the past, but we can make the future right, we can give our posterity the same beautiful gift we had for the 30+ years the WTC stood as a beacon on a hill so the world could look to us for strength, stability and safety. 9 years later we find ourselves in the midst of a deep recession,  a President who doesn't have our best interest at heart and turns his back on our trusted allies while he bows to dictators and kings. 9 years later America stands divided, some that want to stand by our Constitution and rely on the wisdom of God and our Founding Fathers, then others who would take us down the path of socialism and an overgrown government that taxes us mercilessly, controls our lives form our doctors to our air conditioners to our light bulbs. 9 years later the war is still raging and our Troops have their hands tied by lawyers that watch their every move and tell them when they fire their guns. 9 years later we again have the chance to make things right we have 9 values and 12 priciples we can hold to, in order to have a rebirth of what the Founding Fathers intended for us;

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

The Twelve Values
1-Honesty

3-Hope

4-Thrift

5-Humility

6-Charity

7-Sincerity
2-Reverence

8-Moderation

9-Hard Work

10-Courage

11-Personal Responsibility

12-Gratitude

Let's take a stand, let's make this year better than the last. Relight the fires in our souls and show the world that 10 Years Later American is back, and we will not be bullied by enemies foreign or domestic. 10 years later we have the bases of two new towers rising from the ashes. 10 years later the people of America are united behind God and the Forefathers who in 8 pages laid out our government, a government of the people by the people for the people!

P.S. You can find the 9-12 ideas and mony other great ones in Common Sense;
